Nolwenn at Graystone Seattle
This social media project, as seen at @nolwennatgraystone, involved capturing photo and video of First Hill businesses for a real estate firm to educate potential buyers on the local lifestyle and neighborhood vibe. The project demonstrated that showcasing community identity through high-quality, authentic storytelling drives engagement and aids out-of-market buyers in understanding the local community.
The Artwork: The campaign centered around a unique art piece, Nolwenn, created by Julie Speidel for the purpose of being the front display piece of Gray Stone Seattle’s new condominium being built.
The Concept: A physical paper cutout of the character was placed directly into real-world shots across First Hill.
The Execution: Similar to travel blogs that use small plushies or figurines to document a journey, this cutout served as a visual anchor, transforming standard location scouting into an engaging narrative of a traveler exploring local spots.
Professional Growth: While this campaign began as a small-scale testing ground to practice core social media skills, it ultimately marked the official start of my social media marketing career. Through this hands-on experience, I learned how to move past basic amateur layouts and continuously elevate my work to create professional, clean-cut content and high-end imaging.
